So I saw this episode of Kitchen Nightmares (season 6 episode 16) and on the restaurant’s Facebook page, they just steal photos and claim ownership!
If you know any of the photographers to whom the photos belong, please tell them!

Because of the backlash, Disney is restoring Merida to her previous look. All future Disney Princess products featuring Merida will depict her in her usual CG form. The Disney Princess website has already been updated to reflect this change.
YAY!! <3
Good.
That was the most informative thing I have ever been told by a duck
And I have been told a lot of things by ducks.
A beautiful scene of Korra fighting the metal bending police with Republic City in the background. While Korra seems to be having a good time, I can’t say the same for the guy holding on to her…

Hyperbole and a Half posted again, and everyone needs to read it because:
- If you are depressed, it will resonate with you like whoa.
- If you are not depressed, it will clarify some stereotypes about depression that need to be said. An explanation like this has been needed for a LONG time.
- If you know someone who is depressed, you’ll be better at interacting with them after reading this.

Hoping to give new meaning to the term “natural light,” a small group of biotechnology hobbyists and entrepreneurs has started a project to develop plants that glow, potentially leading the way for trees that can replace electric streetlamps and potted flowers luminous enough to read by.
The project, which will use a sophisticated form of genetic engineering called synthetic biology, is attracting attention not only for its audacious goal, but for how it is being carried out.
Rather than being the work of a corporation or an academic laboratory, it will be done by a small group of hobbyist scientists in one of the growing number of communal laboratories springing up around the nation as biotechnology becomes cheap enough to give rise to a do-it-yourself movement.
The project is also being financed in a D.I.Y. sort of way: It has attracted more than $250,000 in pledges from about 4,500 donors in about two weeks on the Web site Kickstarter. (via A Dream of Glowing Trees Is Assailed for Gene-Tinkering - NYTimes.com)
Reblogged before, but worth an update: These guys got more than funded, with still 28 days to go. Not bad for a DIY biotech lab.
Oh science, how did you know I wanted to turn my apartment into Pandora?
disciple-of-dante said: I though she was muscular, not fat.
Muscular doesn’t mean “skinny.” Some people might look at Ash and think she’s fat, and therefore must be out of shape. But she is a blackbelt in karate and can break people in half. She can (and has!) fended off armed criminals, broken down doors, and runs a mile on pavement in under 6 minutes.
Some people call Ash “fat.” I call her a badass.

Actually, the photographs are spaced ten years apart, not sixteen.
1912 to 1922.
The young, homeless (but no less dapper) wanderer shown in the first survived the sinking of the Titanic and swam to the shores of West Egg. There he built a life and a large, empty house, in an effort to win the heart of the wealthy, upper class woman he’d fallen in love with a decade earlier and had been separated from against his will.
He shed his earlier identity, and changed his name to reflect his new station. Jack was now known as Jay Gatsby, the eccentric millionaire who threw parties every night in the hopes that one day his love would show up and spin with him as they had long ago in the dance hall of the lower decks.
holy shit
And then, at the beginning of Inception, he starts out washed up on a shore.
still no oscar
Leo’s entire film career of unrelated projects has better continuity than glee.

TELLTALE GAMES UNVEILS THE WOLF AMONG US SCREENSHOTS
Telltale Games has finally revealed a batch of screenshots for The Wolf Among Us, their first game to be released following the critically successful The Walking Dead.
The Wolf Among Us is based on Bill Willingham’s FABLES comic series and puts players in the role of Bigby Wolf (AKA the big bad wolf), sheriff of a hidden community in New York City that is full of fairy tale exiles. Your (Bibgy’s) task is to keep order within the society of mythical creatures and characters that are trying to remain undected to the real world.
The Wolf Among Us will be available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC sometime this summer and more information will be revealed aabout the game in the days leading up to E3 in June.
stylized game COOL
There’s…a video game being made about one of my favorite Vertigo series? By a competent company with a stylistic art style?
I may cry. Fabletown was a crazy place.
Wow this has the potential to be really cool.
The more I learn about Satanism, the less horrendous it seems. Not even kidding.
That’s cause non-theistic Satanism is more about worshipping yourself and sorta treating others how you want to be treated etc
hail satan
satanism is actually really solid like the Fifth Satanic Rule of the Earth says not to make sexual advances unless you are given consent
satan seems like a pretty nice guy
This week on “I didn’t know I was a Satanist”
Wait till you hear the Nine Satanic Sins
1. Stupidity
2. Pretentiousness
3. Solipsism
4. Self-deceit
5. Herd conformity
6. Lack of perspective
7. Forgetfulness of past orthodoxies
8. Counterproductive pride
9. Lack of aesthetics
That’s right. If you ain’t got no style, you be sinning.
